About Us
Welcome to the Hilltop Park (Chippenham) Residents’ Association – the voice of residents at Hilltop Park, Hilltop View, and the Taylor Wimpey phases in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Our community sits within the beautiful landscape of the Hunters Moon development, a site designed with a rich network of public open spaces, play areas, traditional orchards, and wildlife habitats, as set out in the estate’s Landscape, Ecological and Arboricultural Management Plan (LEAMMP).
Who We Are
We are a group of resident volunteers who have come together to represent the shared interests of homeowners and residents across all six phases of the development. As an interim body, our goal is to ensure that Hilltop Park is completed to the standards promised and that no green space or open space are handed over until all legal, planning, drainage, and remedial obligations have been met.
We are not a funded body, and our members receive no remuneration. What we offer is time, effort, and a united front in communicating with Bloor Homes, FirstPort, Wiltshire Council, and other stakeholders.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to:
- Monitor the developer’s compliance with planning approvals and legal obligations.
- Represent the community’s voice in engagement with Wiltshire Council and contractors.
- Maintain a clear and coordinated snagging list of issues affecting the estate’s common areas.
- Prepare the groundwork for the transition to a resident-led Management Company that will eventually take responsibility for managing the estate.
Our Future
The Residents’ Association is a stepping-stone towards full resident control. In time, the Hilltop Park (Chippenham) Management Company will become the formal body that represents all homeowners – with directors elected from among residents and each household holding a share. Until that transition is complete, the RA is here to make sure our community has a seat at the table.
